I agree with Zdravko Cvijetic’s 6 minute read article on the 13 things you should give up if you want to be successful! (You can find the article on the Medium.com website).
These things are not new to me, but a few made me aware of the things I held on to that left me beaten in certain areas. Just as I was being clothe with remorse, the last paragraph of the 9th thing which is Give up your need to control everything froze that move. Here is what it says `remember nobody can be frustrated while saying bubbles in an angry voice’. You should know that I actually paused reading, and feigned anger just so I could say bubbles.
The result? Well I ended up making an unprofessional clown out of me. I busted out laughing at every attempt like some chemist had just pumped me up with a dose of laughing gas. Mission impossible, I resolved.
Give up the unhealthy life style, the short term mind-set, playing small, making excuses, the fixed mind-set, the magic bullet, your perfectionism, multitasking, your need to control everything, saying yes to things that don’t support your goals, the toxic people, your need to be liked and your dependency on social media and television, but don’t give up on any opportunity to amuse yourself, have a good laugh and experience relief that floods your system with happy emotions.
Now, try saying bubbles in an angry voice!
