I was driving home late Wednesday night, just before I took the bend to my left leading to my home when the word regurgitates came to my mind! As a biological scientists by training the word was not alien to me, however what I found strange was why the word popped up at the time it did.
Simply put to regurgitate is to bring up. This is an action that is mostly common with herbivores, that is animals that eat plants. The animal lays in a comfortable position after it has finished eating its food- in this case plants, then something interesting happens it brings up all that it has eaten into its mouth to chew again or feed it’s young.
As 2018 is almost wrapping up it’s only normal for us to regurgitate. As I sat behind the wheels I made use of the few minutes I had to get home to broad over the word in relation to my life, my achievements, my wins and losses for this year. Month by month like a banana, I peeled off the days to reveal events; good and bad, moments happy and sad and clearly I saw where I got it right, or where I got it wrong and most importantly what I could have done differently.
We owe this to ourselves… the truth! This is one of the ways growth or improvement comes. Isn’t 2019 looking great already?
